This event is open to all, members and non-members alike.  The workshop leader is Michael Arnell, who has been in over a hundred productions covering just about every aspect of theatre.  The purpose of the workshop is to understand text interpretation, and then practice using the voice to deliver the printed word.

Although the workshop is aimed at inexperienced actors, more experienced actors will be very welcome.  The timetable will include opportunities for discussion, and everyone will have the chance to contribute.

Michael says, ‘I am convinced that a ‘talented actor’ is simply someone who is prepared to learn.’  So to everyone who is interested in the theatre, come along and see what you too can learn.  If you’re not familiar with our theatre, you may be surprised at the facilities we can offer; if you are, you’ll be able to benefit from an experienced actor’s skills and advice.

The workshop is free, but bring a packed lunch.  Free coffee and tea will be supplied.  Wear comfortable clothes and sensible shoes.
