As part of their  daily Facebook Advent Calendar featuring local theatre and music throughout December, today (10 December) the Isle of Wight Theatre highlight our very own Apollo Theatre by screening ‘The Christmas Fairy’, a monologue written and performed by Apollo member Maureen Sullivan.

It’s not all fun being stuck on top of the tree every December for forty years, but you do get an insight into the family’s festivities, as one slightly dishevelled and elderly fairy tells us.
